Accepted Payment Methods

The following payment methods are accepted through the LiberLive official online store:

  • Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB
  • Debit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover
  • PayPal
  • Installment payment options, such as Affirm or PayPal Credit, where available at checkout

Payment Notes

  1. Only one bank card may be used per order. LiberLive does not provide or allow multiple forms of payment to be combined for one individual transaction.
  2. If any error occurs with your payment, LiberLive will not ship the ordered product(s). The order will be held as “pending” until the payment issue or dispute is settled.
  3. To shop on the LiberLive website, please register or log in to your LiberLive account first. After logging in, you may add products to your shopping cart and complete payment. LiberLive will arrange shipment within 5 business days after receiving payment.
  4. If you pay by credit card or debit card, LiberLive will receive temporary authorization to charge your card once you complete the payment process. LiberLive will charge you when your order ships or when the temporary authorization period ends, whichever comes first.
  5. Temporary authorization periods for different payment methods are generally as follows:
    • MasterCard and JCB: up to 28 days
    • Visa, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay: up to 7 days
  6. Different forms of payment cannot be combined. You may use only one bank card for each order.
  7. If a PayPal dispute occurs before shipment, the order will be held because PayPal may withhold payment under such circumstances. Please settle the dispute before the order can proceed.
  8. Customers cannot pay by credit card or debit card if the order amount exceeds USD $10,000.
  9. To apply for installment payments, please select the available installment payment option, such as Affirm or PayPal Credit, at checkout.
  10. For your protection, orders are subject to LiberLive’s verification procedures. You may be asked to verify that you are the card owner or that the order information is legitimate. LiberLive reserves the right to refuse an order if the order or payment information cannot be verified. If an order is refused for this reason, a refund will be issued through the same payment method used for the purchase.

Common Reasons for Failed Card Payments

A failed card payment may occur for one or more of the following reasons:

  1. The card number was entered incorrectly. Please try entering your card number again and check that it is correct.
  2. The credit card has expired. If your card has not expired, please check that the expiration date was entered correctly.
  3. The Card Verification Code, or CVC, was entered incorrectly. This is the security code on the back of your bank card and must be entered correctly for your payment to be validated.
  4. The billing address entered does not match the billing address recorded by your bank or card issuer. Please ensure that your billing address matches the address held by your bank, card issuer, or building society.
  5. Your credit limit has been reached. Please contact your bank or card provider for more information.
  6. If your payment is still not authorized after checking the points above, please contact your bank, card issuer, or building society for further assistance.

Currency Conversions

  1. LiberLive will charge only the subtotal price of your order and any applicable freight or shipping costs at checkout, unless otherwise stated. Your issuing bank, card issuer, or building society may charge a currency conversion fee if the currency shown on the checkout page differs from the usual currency associated with your bank account, credit card, or debit card.
  2. If you have questions or issues related to currency conversions, please contact your issuing bank, card issuer, or building society for further information.

Authorization Holds

After placing an order on the LiberLive website, you may notice an unfamiliar pending amount or temporary charge on the statement for your selected payment method.

When you place an order, LiberLive may contact the cardholder’s issuing bank to request an authorization code to validate the payment method. Your bank may then reserve the funds until the transaction proceeds or the authorization expires. This is not considered an actual charge.

This temporary reservation of funds is called an “authorization hold.” It is removed by your payment provider after a short period of time, which may vary from bank to bank.

Once the authorization hold is removed, this does not mean that your order has been cancelled.

Points to Note

  1. If your order proceeds to shipment after the authorization hold has been removed, you may no longer see a pending authorization hold on your payment method.
  2. If you use a debit card, authorization holds may appear as charges on your online statement. These amounts are automatically reversed by your bank.
  3. When your order is about to be shipped, LiberLive will attempt to charge the payment method associated with your order.
  4. If there are no subsequent payment issues, the payment method will be charged and the order will be shipped.
  5. If payment cannot be completed when the order is about to ship due to insufficient funds, changes in billing information, or any other reason, LiberLive will notify you by email and allow 7 days for you to update your payment method or payment details. Once the payment information is successfully updated, the order will proceed to shipment.

PLEASE NOTE:

If your payment method or payment details are not updated within 7 days, your order will be cancelled by LiberLive.

If you have questions about how your card handles authorization requests, or if you believe you have been charged more than once, please contact your bank, card issuer, or building society.

If you have any issues with your payment, please contact LiberLive at support_global@liberlive.com.
