FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Is LiberLive C1 waterproof?

The product is not water-resistant. Please avoid submersion and exposure to rain.

Will the white color be yellowing?

The current C1 graphite gray and ivory white, both of which use a non-sprayed matte process, are theoretically less likely to show paint loss or yellowing. The white model is a more yellowish ivory tone. If you are worried about it, you can consider buying the black model.

How many chord types are supported? Whether to support custom chords?

In the basic mode, the product is preset with seven chords arranged by scale degrees (such as C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am, Bm in the key of C, which will change accordingly when transposed). In custom mode, you can also individually set the 21 chord pads through the app. The neck features 21 frets arranged by scale. It currently supports custom chords for all 21 frets, including major and minor triads, major and minor sevenths, dominant sevenths, add9, and 12 root notes with 72 different chords. You can set these chords according to your song requirements.

Is the sound quality good? And how does the sound quality compare to a regular guitar?

The product’s sound quality has been calibrated by professional musicians and acoustics experts to ensure it delivers high-quality audio, whether through the built-in speakers or external devices. While we strive to achieve a sound quality comparable to professional instruments, individual perceptions of sound can vary, so we recommend experiencing the product in person to assess its audio quality.

This product uses samples from acoustic guitar and produces sound through speakers calibrated for instrument frequency response. Overall, the sound quality is much similar to an amplified acoustic guitar.

Does LiberLive C1 have a built-in amplifier?

LiberLive C1 has built-in professional speakers (20W for mid-low frequencies and 5W for high frequencies) tuned to the unique frequency characteristics of the instrument, which are suitable for indoor performances in spaces of approximately 80 square meters. If you need to play outdoors, you can also perform at a louder volume by connecting an external sound card, mixer, or other audio device through the 3.5mm audio interface.

Lots of fun

It's probably the easiest for someone who cannot manage the Guitar chords and play decently as an accompanist guitar player. I had fun humming to songs with the family.

Key to good hardware is the software. So the App must consistently have a good supply of songs in a well organised manner to support existing and to attract new customers

Brilliant hardware marred by lackluster App/software and lame support

Easy to use, easy to learn and very fast processing and delivery. The design and materials used are top notch. App/software on other hand is confusing and the music library is a quite limited mess (not in the thousands as advertised). It is not moderated so the library ranges from good to really bad ones. I mean really bad ones. To top it off it is not indexed in a meaningful way so finding good music is harder than necessary. example some songs are not in English but i have to wade through anyway to find songs that i can play along.
Additionally called help desk/support a few times for assistance on delivery and app, the experience was really disappointing..

This device makes a perfect gift for beginners who want to understand basics to music introduction. You have to learn to learn to count to keep a good beat, you’re introduced to an octave of easily played cords that you can adjust to any scale while each fret can have 3 of the same cord in different keys that you can customize. You also have 2 customizable strum switches with hundreds of musical styles from guitar, piano, and bass to chose from. It’s got an adjustable tempo with a ton of beats to choose from as well as a Manuel strum bar you can use to free strum or pluck individual “strings”. And the fact that almost all of it can be controlled through an app is amazing! Most everything about the guitar can be controlled trough the app with access to a music garage where you can create your own music to play or explore an abundance of music from top artists to originals from others creative musicians. And all of this makes it more perfect for the most experience musicians as well!

A very cool and fun instrument!

I have only had mine a short time and am still experimenting with strum patterns and sounds. Overall it is a fun and easy instrument. Your timing of pressing the paddles is very important because unlike a regular stringed instrument, if you don’t hit the paddles just at the right time, you can miss the sound playing at the right timing. There is a learning curve so expect that. There is a learning curve with any new instrument. I am enjoying playing the Liberlive stringless guitar overall.
Still learning, but that is a good thing.
